MOROCCAN POTTERY WORKSHOP
3 hours with optional lunch
This fun and fascinating pottery training course is very hands-on and allows you to approach the two MOST common technical of shaping practised in Morocco: the turning on the traditional potter's wheel and the moulding.
During the course, you will also discover the workshop 's organization and the various activities carried out by the craftsmen.
The practical work concerns the learning of the modelling on the traditional potter 's wheel, step by step, to make your very own piece of pottery.
The workshop includes:

2h45 of practice , devoted to the learning of the various phases of a potter's wheel ; then the realization of a box and a flat squared by the technique of the molding;

explanations and demonstrations concerning the clay activities (kneading ....), the potteries firing and glazing activities.
The following services are included in your pottery training course:

the presence of a professional experimented professional the whole workshop; the necessary tools, raw materials for your practical work and the protection's equipment (aprons, gloves);

the presence of a guide in charge of the translation, who will ensure the progress of the workshop and assist you with any requirements;

An optional local lunch is also available in the village after the workshop.
